Vegas grub!

Just some notes on the food here in las vegas....if you are in the henderson area, run don't walk to Buon Gusto on horizon ridge and eastern in the albertsons parking lot, it is a little hole in the wall next to a subway..skip subway, this food is way worth it!! I have only eaten the chicken parmigian sandwich and the pasta salad but dang that is all I need to survive the rest of my life!! I am not joking this food is real italian made fresh with all the best ingredients...go eat there today!!
Another palce to eat, try the buffet at silverton, we went there to shop at the bass pro shop and ate breakfast there, very good food for a buffet!

How gorgeous is this!! I took a silver art clay class today, Colleen is a great ring teacher...I made this!! Can you believe that..I made this ring!!! It starts out as as 15 grams of clay, a ball of clay and turns into this....I love it!

Rat Pack Tribute

We went to see the Rat pack tribute at the greek isles casino, it was a really good show! I recommend it to anyone, they sing really well. The guy who sings Frank Sinatra did a great job.

Shopping fun!

Yesterday Colleen McG invited me to go to Ralph Jones with her, ralph jones is a display place but they do christmas displays as well, so if you love to decorate for christmas then this is the place to go! We started off the morning with a wonderful peppermint mocha form starbucks in my very own get to keep the travel mug from Colleen, that was fabulous!

We arrived and I walked into christmas, they had trees decorated in every theme you could want, I loved the Vegas theme tree so I will work on that next year, because we know how much I love Las Vegas! But the Wine tree was cool too! Oh it was great! The one item I had to buy was this snowman for my snowmen decorations, he hangs from our dining room light fan with mistletoe, my polar express bell, my other snowman ornament, he is too cute.

Every year I have taken our grandson Ethan's photo in a santa hat, here is this years photo...
"Does this hat make me look cute?"Then I handed the camera over to him....not too bad for a 3 year old!!

Music Monday!

I am in Barenaked Ladies mode...once you start listening to them you just can't stop. I can play the Rock Spectacle cd over and over...here is a video for Brian Wilson song...I wanted to play Break your heart but could not find a video for it...love that song!!

New man in my life...

Every year I have to buy a new snowman for my collection, this year I got this 2 foot tall one for the corner, he has a chalkboard and you can count down the days until christmas on him, he is too cute!
