The first day of winter.....

It's a little chilly here, I am actually enjoying it since I have my new knitted and crocheted items to keep me warm....

I have been busy making cowls, I love the cowls because it warms your neck only, you don't have to worry about a big bulky scarf so you don't get too hot, they really are perfect:
These 4 I crocheted....

This cowl is one of my first I ever got from my knitting friend, one of my favorites to wear! Thanks, Tanya!

Sometimes a scarf is the best accessory!

Oh but don't forget about socks! These are perfect for me...a drunk snowman!! Bawahahaha!!!
This is the cowl I am currently working on, bobble stitches galore!! You can find this pattern on Ravelry or Etsy by searching Casper Mountain Cowl....or here is the link where I bought the pattern from Abbey at The Firefly Hook: https://www.etsy.com/listing/231437952 It is only 3.00!!
So pretty.....

This Shawl was one of my xmas gifts from Tanya: holy smokes, it is gorgeous! So much work involved, it looks great on, I will try to get a photo today of me wearing it so you can get the full effect, stunning!

Ok, I hope everyone is staying nice and warm and I hope everyone is enjoying the winter holidays!

I sent my husband to New Zealand to visit his sister over Thanksgiving week, he had a wonderful time, I stayed home and decorated the house, got out all my Jim Shore Snowmen..had to buy a couple more for this year...I just love them:

I also made a homemade Vanilla Bean Cheesecake for the Hubby....for his homecoming:
                                                               He was a happy man!
Here are some pics from his trip:
Coffee shop helper, Charlie and his sister Violet!

He got to ride his sisters bike all over the island while he was there! He had a blast!

He rode all over and took some beautiful island photos!

I'm going to make him a little scrapbook, so I will share more photos later on....

Happy December everyone!!
