GROW YOUR BLOG

Hello!
Welcome to the blog party!!
I am part of Vicki's blog party she is hosting, go to her site where you can see over 500 blogs that are joining in the fun:

Blogging is so much fun, I have met some wonderful people through blogging!
I love to sit and read my favorite blogs while sipping a hot cup of coffee, everyone is so full of ideas and information, you can learn so much from others, but remember to always have an open mind and never be critical of others, just enjoy their process.
Blogging for me is like writing in a diary, it is my memories and I am getting them down for future generations to read and learn and know what my life was like. I know it is not too exciting but it sure is fun! And it is a great release, I am a big believer in talking things out, get it all out there on the table, less stress and frustration if you can write it or say it!
Me dog sledding in Alaska!
Me cooking in my little Vegas kitchen!
My blog is all about my travels, my life in Las Vegas, my cooking skills or lack there of. I hope you decide to take time to read my blog or some new blogs and follow mine or someone else's. It is a big wide world out there and you never know who or what you will find.

Some of us bloggers are giving away prizes just for stopping by the party, so if you would like to be entered in my give away you can leave a comment or you can follow my blog, comments are at the bottom of the post and following is on the sidebar. You can do one or both, up to you. Names will be put in a hat and the winner will be drawn Feb. 15th!
Here is my gift I am giving away in honor of the Blog Party:
My world famous Harmonica necklace!

Only 1 1/2 inches big and it really works!
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the party!
Jackie

For all that happen along behind me, Jackie's one hell of a friend, in addition to being a blogger! And it's true about her necklace being World Famous! Ask her - she's so modest! Love the photos, Chica - thanks for the morning out.

Love the harmonica necklace! Awesome!

The summer I was a park ranger was such fun. I learned so much more than the history I imparted to visitors. I learned how, as an introvert, to put on my game face & talk to people when I needed to. I also taught myself embroidery as I mentioned. I even did a ranger talk (& I sang too) on the way women were portrayed in colonial music.

Thanks for visiting my redwork/ embroidery blog yesterday! I have my follow button working...

Did you know that you can get your blog published in book format? If you do it year by year, it truly does become a journal for future generations.

Hello Jackie,
Lovely to meet you and look over your blog. I want to know about your necklace being world famous? I can't imagine it playing for real. It is so cute and reminds me of long ago days when a harmonica and a yoyo were what we got in our Stockings at Christmas. My dad taught me to play the harmonica, not well but he also taught me to yoyo. He told me his was the worlds champion yoyo'r. I got older to find out he was best at story telling. Thanks for the memory, and I'd love to be in your giveaway.
Please find time to come and visit my blog, who knows we can have some things in common and become blogging friends,
Take care,
Cindy
