Seven Things!

In return for winning said award, I must reveal 7 interesting little tidbits about myself and pass this along to 10 other bloggers! Since I love a good game, I accept your award, so on to the tidbits...

1. I love to take surveys, questionnaires, and fun little items like this, so on to more exciting tidbits.

2. I love Pineapple anything, hardly anyone knows this because most people don't like it so I never get to make anything pineapply!! But I love the look as well, paper, fabric, decorations, but I never indulged on it, it is one of my hidden little secrets!

3. I use to hate the water! All water, drinking, ocean, lakes, pools, all of it, I hated anything water. Once our friends Joe and Mary took us to Lake Havasu and showed us the ropes about waverunners, I was hooked on water, I remember fondly gliding along on my own private little boat (waverunner) and watching the clear blue water pass below me, the sun on my skin and the wind in my hair, I fell in love with the water that day. I have since been on cruises, boats, and built my own swimming pool which I love to lounge in all summer!

4. I was tested in reading class in elementary school, I came back reading at college level. I know this does not help with spelling or grammar, but I can read anything you put in front of me and comprehend it!

5. I love classic rock and blues but when I am all alone, it is good old soul music that I play. Otis Redding, Temptations, Bette LaVette, Solomon Burke, Dramatics. It moves me.

6. I owned my own house cleaning service for 10 years. I did all the work myself, one house a day, Monday through Friday. I loved it and I made good money, I was home by noon everyday. It was the best job ever!

7. I love classic cars, my husband loves race cars. He sees no point in classic cars. You have to drive them around real slow (that is what I like about them!) One day I hope to own a 57 chevy bel air, black and  white and chrome. I want to rebuild one with my son, it is on my bucket list! Maybe it will have to be me, him and a future grandson? hmmm?? He is all grown up and married now!

Baseball and CrackerJacks!!

Well, Napoli is on the move again so look for me to be wearing a Texas Rangers Jersey! Thank goodness, I did not want to go to Toronto for a baseball game, but I would love to see Texas! I hear the BBQ down there is fabulous, I can't wait! Charlie and I will go for a baseball weekend this year, that is, if Napoli stays with the Rangers!

BREAKING NEWS....

The Angels traded Napoli to Toronto!! UGH!! How could they be so Stupid!! Mike is a fantastic catcher, and he can knock a ball out the park as well!
I will just have to retire my red and white Napoli jersey and buy a new Blue and White Blue Jays Napoli jersey!

Because, in the beautifully sung words of Little Peggy March "I will follow him, where ever he may go"

Vegas Day!

My friend Tanya had promised to take me to the strip and see the new Cosmopoliton Hotel that her husband built all the elevators and more in...One elevator is a million dollar elevator, yes, I rode in it! The place is dripping with crystals, Jaci, T's daughter, joined us for Mimosas in the Chandelier bar. We then we decided to walk over to Wild Bills for 1.00 margaritas and then down to Margaritaville for lunch, after that we walked to Caesar's to meet up with Louie, her son, who is a go getter for a hottie nightclub, yes, he is scrumptious, and has no problem filling the club with gorgeous females! Then we hit the Bellagio to check out the atrium that they had all decked out for "The year of the rabbit". It was a fun "play on the strip" kind of day!

It's ALIVE!

Travis and Rebecca got me this cute little planter set so I could grow my own parsley and basil, I love this, it sits in my kitchen window and I can watch the progress everyday while I do dishes.

Normally, I cannot grow anything, that is why I have fake trees in my house, so to see these actually sprout is quite a nice surprise! I can't wait to make my lemon basil chicken dish with my own homegrown basil!!

Starting Fresh!

Ok a whole new year, let's get down to business!
Yes, I am working on refreshing my blog....but right now it is snowing on the other side of town (westside)and I can't think straight when it snows....I am just wondering if it is going to make it over to this side of town (eastside)! I will video it for you just in case you have never seen it snow in Las Vegas!

I get grumpy when it snows.....

Going back to bed now....wake me when it is over!

I hope we all have a great year!

I am going to focus on putting new items in my etsy store this month, cooking new dishes like chicken spaghetti!  (I always wanted to try that since I am not a huge regular spaghetti person).

I would like to get back on the treadmill before May and our pool is uncovered!
