Run Don't Walk!!!

Run don't walk to get tickets to see this show, everyone in Vegas is raving about it, it is all over the radio stations and people are really buzzing about this show:

And last night I got to see it with my friends, Jerry, Colleen, Winston...Girls Night Out!! We had a blast!

Wow, Robin Zander did amazing job with the vocals, I was worried when they said Cheap Trick were going to sing the Beatles but in my opinion, they were made for these songs! They had Joan Osbourne with them, I love her voice back from the 80's...and they had an orchestra which really enhances the Beatles music as well...Fabulous show, standing ovations all around, it was amazing!!!
So run to the Hilton and see for yourself how good the Beatles music can be 40 years after the release of Sgt Pepper album!

Fun Fun Fun!

First photo is Debbie holding her bingo computer, we don't daub anymore, much easier and fun to use the machines! Next photo is Patty, Margaret, Debbie on bingo row! Nothing better then free doughnuts and coffee with your bingo! Yeah, charlies mom got up early to come play with us! I think she had fun, she was a little nervous but bingo is easy to learn!

Third photos is me playing my paper keno and drinking coffee at the cafe for lunch!

The only person that won was debbie but she only won 25.00, what it costs to play! We had a funtime anyway!!

Sorry I have not posted, I picked up debbie from the airport thursday and we having been running ever since, will try to get some pictures up today! But we are off to bingo this morning!!

Fun in the sun!

Charlie has been home all weekend with me!! We had dinner friday night with friends at the claim jumper, then went home so we could go out again saturday, saturday found us at the cannery for mexican food and a little gambling...Sunday we took off for the Strip and hung out at Margaritaville, we drank margaritas ate the volcano nachos pictured above, they are the best, and just talked to some real nice people...walked around and played and people watched, today will find me in the pool and cooking dinner!

Ok here is my little corner in the room, with all my jewelry..I added a quote here to...the bird is from stampin'up, they do vinyl accents now. I added 3 of my favortie photos..travis and the bear, charlie and me at a baseball game and my toby monster.

Fixed it!

I went on wallwords.com and planned my writing all out in their interactive software, then reprinted my quote..looks much better!! I priced the quote on wall words, it would have cost me 86.00 to order it from them, instead by printing it myself it cost me about 5.00!

I bought a black hamper and I have a couple more items I am adding to the room so stay tuned!

I have to redo the quote, I had to cut it in lines as the vinyl is not wide enough to cut it the way I want, so of course each line does not look even...but over all we really like the room. Charlie helped me paint and he spray painted all the black accent stuff, the fan, the new light we bought for my side, all the frames. I have Amanda's art work up, looks great! Charlie also took his closet apart and painted the frame, it was gold, now it is black and is so much better! I still need a few more items, I would like a different hamper. We bought new blinds for the window and new vertical blinds for the sliding doors and I added a valance for the window, all in all I am so happy to not have peach walls!!
