Pinterest Win!

I saw this on pinterest and knew I had to try it!
The recipe is from www.betterrecipes.com it is quite easy!
Just take 2 pounds hamburger (get the good stuff, sirloin or angus), mix with some breadcrumbs, salt and pepper, push/flatten into a 9x13 baking pan. Bake at 400* for 30 minutes. Top with cheese slices and let melt for a minute back in oven.
Cut into squares that fit on Hawaiian rolls. Add your favorite burger toppings and eat!!
These were fabulous!!!

Love the Hawaiian rolls as buns, I may never eat a hamburger any other way! And no greasy messy frying pan!! Love that! Thanks pinterest for another winning recipe!!!

Do you think you could cook them less, for more of a rarer burger? I have a house of savages! They look fabulous, Chica! Good job - sometimes it really pays to look at things on the internet. ;-)

So this would be great for a kids party also if you got little buns, and made the little patties. What a fun idea, I have to visit Pinterest threw others as I've been told I don't have time for another hobby and apparently Pinterest can be a hobby. Glad you enjoy your new way of sandwich

Any particular reason why my meat is shrinking? I did exactly what was said fire a recipe and my meat shrank.. very confused. At least two of us got to eat

I use about 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs.

Hambruger always shrinks a bit, but yes I did notice it shrinks a bit more when cooked like this, not sure why....

How many sliders will you get per pan?

About 4 to 6 we use small Hawaiian rolls so we got 6 small ones

Mostly all hamburger shrinks, your just looking at it different, use a large cookie sheet, cut the cheese smaller, usually in fourths for the sliders. Depends on your hamburger again, have any of you ever did the hamburger salisbury steak, do it the same way and add milk and four to make like a sauce or buy the alfredo sauce then cook and cut into patties. Yummy ..

To cut down on my shrinkage I do half beef half very lean turkey breast. When the grease cooks out is why it shrinks. Also I have pressed mine into a sheetcake pan and it works great.

I would take 1 lb. of lean angus, mix one envelope onion soup mix, with 1 cup breadcrums. then bake as directed. YUM!

These were simple and tasty! I also added garlic powder to mixture and after putting in pan I sprinkled some basil, parsley & Parmesan cheese .

A tip, don't cut the meat. Cut your rolls in half, put the sheet of meat on top of the bottom half, add cheese etc the put the tops on. You can butter and pop back in the oven for a few if you want. Then just cut through to separate each burger. Yum.

Made these tonight, but only used 1lb of beef, so they weren't as thick as they could be, but they cooked perfectly! Thanks for the recipe!! Seasonings I used: Worcestershire sauce, salt/pepper, minced onion, & a bit of garlic powder. :)
