My hubby decided to wander the swapmeet on sunday morning, I am glad he did! He called me up and said he found a pool table for 300.00! So I drove down picked it up and now we can play pool in our backyard (lot cheaper then playing at the bar!)
Thanks Honey!!

What I ate Friday!
Last night Charlie and I went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. (The one in Green Valley district area)
When scrapbooking in Anaheim CAlifornia, the girls and I would walk to the Cheesecake Factory there and we had some pretty amazing dinners, so I told charlie lets try the one here!
I am not a fan of the seating, I prefer booths for privacy and comfort, here for two people you get seated at those long tables and benches where you basically sit with other people and eat.
But I went along with it, and I ordered the wasabi crusted ahi tuna steak, WOW, it was delicious!
Served over brown rice with slivers of veggies mixed in. I would go back and sit on the floor just to eat that meal again!!
So there you go, another place to eat, but you have to go early, we dine at 5:00 to beat the dinner crowds and this place gets packed, by the time we walked out it was wall to wall people waiting to eat!

Craft room update!
Since I won the scrapbook armoire, I had to redo the room, all my scrapbook stuff will be housed in it and all my paper will be along side in the bookcases. I really like how clean and organized my room is! Every plastic container is labeled and I know right where to find everything!
I almost have it complete but I have to wait for joanns to send me some more 14x14 cases to organize all my scrapbook stickers and embellishments, then it will be done, I ordered them online at a price of 4.99 each, they are normally 9.99 so I will wait to save that kind of dough!! But for the most part I have every craft in it's own place, and now that I bribed Tanya into teaching me to knit I will have to find a place for knitting supplies! I made her a favorite lunch she likes, buffalo chicken salad with blue cheese dressing - in return she taught me the basics of knitting! Everyone be prepared - you are getting scarves for christmas!! hahaha!!
I hope you enjoyed my craft room tour! I will be in there working away making jewelry for my etsy store and scrapbooks of my many travels!

#7 Naples Italy
Whew, last day of excursions!
For anyone planning on a Mediterranean cruise, I think this was a great buy, Royal Caribbeans 7 day cruise, we hit Spain, France and Italy. Take the time to stay in Barcelona a day or two first before getting on board, we chose Madrid. It was great too, but the ship departs from Barcelona, easy peasy!
We arrive in Naples on the morning of Thursday Sept. 12.
Some say Naples is the birthplace of Pizza, YUM!
The weather is going to be rainy! We had beautiful weather up to now.
Our excursion for today: Travel to a farm to see how fresh mozzarella is made, and how they press olives for olive oil. We will then head to Sorrento for lunch and shopping, then up to see the city of Pompeii.
The bus ride to Le Sorrento Farm was quite an adventure, the rain was pouring down and our tour guide was saying "oh, we only get a little rain then it clears up", well, she was shocked at how much it was raining about an hour into the trip, the streets were flooding and it was quite treacherous driving along the coast! But we arrive up into the hills and, Viola! the rain stops long enough to enjoy the farm and have a taste of fresh mozzarella cheese, oh my, way better than what you get at the grocery store!
We leave the farm and drive into the little town of Sorrento, the rain starts again as we try to walk along the streets, we purchase umbrellas and find a restaurant to have pizza, because you must have pizza in Italy!
At lunch I bring out the photos of my grandma, Ginia, and Dante, and we have a nice little lunch with them! I wish I could have travelled to Italy with Ginia, as a young adult, that would have been nice, but we make do and head on our way to Pompeii!
As we are driving to Pompeii, we see Mt. Vesuvius in the distance, the tour guide says it will errupt again soon (the next 100 years), but the people are not concerned as they live such a simple and relaxed life in their beautiful city, they cherish each day and live it as if it could be their last, because, well, it could be their last when you live under an active volcano! I could live there and be happy, with all the wine and cheese I could eat, ah, that is the life on the coast of Italy!
At Pompeii (the rain stops again long enough for us to see Pompeii, what great luck we are having!) We start our walk along the ruins, back in the day Pompeii was quite the place to hang out, it was a hustling little town, actually it was nothing but a big party mecca, much like a "Las Vegas" of ancient Rome! Yes, complete with all the food, wine and women a Roman could endulge in! Geez, what a let down, I left new Las Vegas to see old Las Vegas, hahahahaha!
It is impressive how they are uncovering Pompeii from 18 feet of volcanic ash and finding most of it intact!
Back on the bus for the ride to the ship, our final excursion over with! What a great day, what a great trip! My final entry will be in a day or two, where I will sum up my thoughts on my first trip over seas.

#6 Rome
Ok, the big day is finally here! We dock in Rome this morning, Wednesday Sept. 12, we are scheduled for a 10 hour excursion to see: The Colosseum, Lunch at Zagara, St. Peter's Square, St. Peter's Basilica, The Vatican Museum, and The Sistine Chapel!
Off we go on our bus tour, we travel through Rome and arrive at The Colosseum, wow, it is so enormous! We enter and are all amazed at the architecture of it all.
We leave there and head for a little restaurant called Zagara, we enter and are served a nice white wine, pasta in red sauce, a plate with meat, potatoes and vegetable, and chocolate chip gelato along with espresso, it was a fabulous little lunch! We are back on the bus and headed to The Vatican. We tour the museum first then head to the Sistine Chapel, the Basilica, and The Square. All of it was a bit overwhelming, so much to see in so little time, but I soaked up as much as I could. I won't talk much of the history as you can look up each place and learn about them, something I would recommend, so much information on each place, it is truly a must to see and one for your bucket list! Yes, Rome is a very fascinating place indeed!

We interrupt my trip for this:
Oh, Yeah! We met an amazing woodworker in the office next to us, I sent Charlie over with a photo of a bed I would like to have made, he said "No Problem" whipped it up in one week....LOVE IT!!!
He is now charging 900.00 for them and has 6 orders!!!
We got ours a lot cheaper ;-)
Storage is a key element in our home, 1200 sq. feet so you better make every inch count!
6 huge drawers and the fact that this thing is so solid it will withstand Armageddon makes me smile!
Don't you just love my bedroom? I love the quote on the wall ( oh, click on any photo to enlarge it) I am going to be adding a reading chair in the corner by the bookcase, you can't see that here but no worries, I will photo it when that happens, I must keep you all informed!
OK, back to our regularly scheduled programming...
