Updates!

I updated some of my links in Travel section to the right...
I added the link to Whats-on magazine (all you need in Las Vegas)
This magazine is my bible here in Las Vegas, I read it every week. It has a map of the strip, restaurants, shopping, concerts, shows, all the hotel listings. Everything you need in Vegas!
I also added the links to Art unraveled and Art and soul retreats, these are great places to get away and make interesting art objects.
Be back soon with more interesting things happening here in Las Vegas, oh I am revamping my craft room so get ready to be amazed!

Yummy!

Sorry if you are offended but I like lobster! I won't eat it while it looks at me, but take the meat and use it in a dish and I am all over it!
Friday night Charlie and I, Colleen, Greg, Debbie and Leonard went to Fellini's in Sam's Town for dinner. I had a lobster dish that was baked with asparagus and lobster and cheeses and penne pasta, Holy Smokes that was Fantastic!
The service was horrible but I will go back for that lobster dish!
We went to listen to the band Mister Hipster but they were not as good as the last time we listened to them so we all went home.
Try Fellini's out, the atmosphere is good if you sit up front not in the back and you will probably get better service too!

Music Monday!

I love this music, I could listen to these kind of songs all day, I swear I should have been born in the back of a greyhound bus on the way to woodstock!

Well, we got it, thanks to low budget tv productions! My son is driving the 3rd set of orange cars, the stationwagon with the little trailer full of tires #6...it gets really crazy so make sure to watch it all (6 minutes) It's too hilarious!! He wins at the end but they did not show him getting his trophy! You know they actually get paid to do this!! Hahahaha!

Catching up!

I have been busy this week...class on monday, ethan on tuesday, and Shauna's birthday lunch on wednesday...today I play catch up with all the stuff to do around the house.

Here is a photo of the class monday, we played with copper and wire. Copper is fabulous to work with, You can add color to it using stuff like potato chips and hamster shavings, You can hammer it and cut it into all kinds of shapes! I love to work with the copper, I can't wait to play with it again!

Demolition Man!!

Got a give a big shout out to my Son Travis Carl...he won the demolition trailer race at Monster Jam last Saturday at Anaheim Stadium!!
Here is on the big jumbotron with his trophy!! Congratulations Travis!

Eggplant anyone?

Desert Newcomers Luncheon was yesterday at Tuscany Grill, 11105 s.eastern towards Anthem area.
I chose the eggplant parmigiana as my entree. We were served bread, brushetta (too dry), salad, oh the house dressing is yummy, we were dipping our bread in it before we found out it was the salad dressing, very tasty! The eggplant was huge! and very delicious! If you live up in henderson, this is probably a great place to have dinner/lunch one night a week. But for us it is much too far to go to. It is very casual, not a fancy dinner place.

Well, I am off to see an allergy doctor today. See ya later!
