A Boat, a Lake, and the end of Summer....

We finally took the boat out for a test drive. We are still here so you know it did not sink.
Needs a little engine tune up and a couple more little items but it is ready to set sail.
It was a nice calm Saturday morning on Lake Mead, wow, look how low the water is, it is like someone pulled the plug on our great big bathtub!
I think I can fill a whole album with all my feet and water photos...too funny!

Damn, look at that Dam
O Captain, My Captain (name that movie!)
Tomorrow is my sad day, summer is at an end, the leaves will fall, the wind will blow, and I will drag out my sweaters and socks and brace myself for the harsh beating from winter.....
take shelter my good friends......

  1. Well, I'm remembering Dead Poet's Society...and because it was a poem by Walt Whitman, first and foremost. I hope I win. Had a fabulous time at Joan Jett the night before this...AND CHEESECAKE WITH CHARLIE! Thanks for being a pal - summer, and all year long, now that you think it's over! Glad you didn't sink!
