I forgot to take a picture of my pizza, I hope www.simplyscratch.com is OK that I am sharing but it is up on her blog if you would like to see it over there.
I love buffalo hot wings, buffalo chicken salads, pretty much anything you can pour that hot sauce on I will eat!
I had a recipe up for my buffalo chicken salad, which is too die for:
But now let's make this pizza, it will knock your socks off!
Grab some Naan Flat bread, I found mine in the bakery dept. at the grocery store, this bread is going to be my go to bread to make my own individual pizzas, it was great! Thank you to www.SimplyScratch.com for sharing her amazing recipe!!
Ingredients:
1 cup Frank's Red Hot
4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
Salt and Pepper to taste
2 Loaves of Garlic Naan (*see note)
1 cup Grated Farmers or Monterey Jack Cheese
2 cups Shredded Cooked Chicken
2 tablespoons Blue Cheese, crumbled
2-3 Sliced Green Onions
4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
Salt and Pepper to taste
2 Loaves of Garlic Naan (*see note)
1 cup Grated Farmers or Monterey Jack Cheese
2 cups Shredded Cooked Chicken
2 tablespoons Blue Cheese, crumbled
2-3 Sliced Green Onions
Directions:
*note: I only used one flat bread, you get two in the pack, but it was just me for lunch today!
In a small sauce pan over low heat combine the Frank's, butter, cayenne, salt and pepper. Whisk until combined.
Preheat your oven to 425 and lightly spray a rimmed aluminum baking sheet with cooking spray.
Place the two or one Naan Loaves on the sheet pan and then spoon on desired amount of buffalo sauce on to both. Then top each with shredded cooked chicken, shredded Farmers or Monterey Jack Cheese and sprinkle with the crumbled blue cheese. Drizzle a little bit more of the buffalo sauce and save the rest for a different recipe.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until the Naan is crispy and the cheese is melted and slightly golden brown in spots.
Remove, let cool before slicing and then top with sliced green onions.
